This is the first level of mastery of rune magic, all who complete this level must pass a test in order to advance to the Advanced level
of the magic. The spells in this level are the most basic of runic magic and are the easiest to learn. I takes 1 day to inscribe one
spell into the forearm and they are often put in small runes at the beginning of the wrist.
